The MicroMapper is a small handheld cable tester which enables network professionals to quickly and easily verify the integrity of Ethernet twisted pair cabling.
Quickly and Easily Test Twisted Pair Cabling
The MicroMapper quickly tests twisted pair cabling for opens, shorts, crossed, reversed, and split pairs. Press the TEST button, and it scans all wire pairs for faults. Its built-in tone generator works with analog probes for cable tracing. Auto-sleep reduces battery use, and LEDs show faults and low battery. Includes a remote unit for one-person testing of installed cabling or patch cords.
