Why are these magnets weak on my stainless‐steel fridge?
Stainless-steel surfaces (especially brushed) have low magnetic permeability, which greatly reduces holding force. Best on ordinary carbon-steel surfaces for light crafts. Magnet-to-magnet is much stronger than to external metal.
Will the magnets chip or crack easily?
Neodymium magnets are brittle ceramic‐like material. Different‐size magnet will generate large impact force when snapping together quickly and may chip or crack. Please separate them slowly and avoid letting them snap violently against each other.
What are these magnets best used for?
