The -APCP-1700 activates in approximately 2" of water and shut-off when the water level falls to approximately 1". The APCP-1700 has a wide, weighted base design for added stability. The APCP-1700 is equipped with a 1" FNPT discharge and can be connected to 1" piping for areas that frequently get heavy rain falls (1" to 2" per hour) for increased performance.
Protect your investment! Take the pump indoors when temperatures fall below 32 °F as the hose can freeze with water in it preventing water from being expelled from the pump. This can cause the pump to run until the water in the hose melts which can result in excess strain and damage to the motor. Freezing water expands and can cause the pump to crack during freezing weather. Clean the pump yearly to keep your pump running smoothly. Instructions are found in the owner's manual or watch our "Troubleshooting Airlock on the APCP-1700 video."
